Description

Identification note: Map has been cut into four parts and bound into an atlas with similar maps entitled Maps and Plans of Wiltshire and there is an engraving of the Entrance to Warminster from the Bath Road in the lower centre area of the map.

Summary: One quarter of the Plan of the Parish of Warminster, surveyed by Cruse and Fox in 1840, showing the south-east area with the Salisbury Road to Bishopstrow, Battlesbury Hill and a detached section of Pitmead printed to the far right. . Scale 9 inches to 1 mile
