Content summary: No Date: Abraham Crocker to William Cunnington - The amulet and ornamental which WmC now has came from a grave mentioned by Mr Munday, who gave it to A Crocker,who gave it to Mr Yockney, who gave it to Wm. A Crocker had assisted his friend Collinson in his History of Somerset and agreed to assist with the topographical survey of South Wilts for The History of Wiltshire. He offers his notes to WmC. Collinson has died but two volumes of his notes are with Richard Colt Hoare. A Crocker Describes Collinson's death as murder 'because he died of some bitter wounds he received from a malevolent reviewer ….. damming his book.' Collinson was also £2000 in debt.
