Description

Summary: faunal remains from the late Bronze Age / early Iron Age midden sites at Potterne, East Chisenbury, All Cannings Cross and Stanton St Bernard. Extracted for sampling as part of the FEASTNET project, Dr Richard Madgwick, Cardiff University. Returned to Wiltshire Museum on 21st February 2024.

Identification note: These samples will not be returned to their original boxes, and are now all in one new box - number 7436. This is for the ease of future research opportunities. Lisa Brown, Curator.
