Description

Summary: 1 part of a broken circular pebble macehead of reddish coloured stone, approximately 33% remaining, marked 'Southcott House' and 'Hurdcott', 50% of surface is heavily pitted possibly from use as a hammerstone post fracture, possibly from Southcott House, Hurdcott, Wiltshire, part of the Dixon Bequest.
