Summary: 1 English pottery puzzle jug of red earthenware, the neck and half the handle decorated in green slip, incised decoration on base of handle, the neck patterned with holes surrounded by incised circles, the belly of the jug with incised motto surrounded by slip dabbed incised scrolling, slip decorated in green, blue and cream, whole pot covered in transparent glaze, rim with 3 spouts, manufactured by C H Brannam, Litchdon Pottery, Barnstaple, Devon, c1890, acquired from the McLaren Foundation, Clouds Estate, East Knoyle, Salisbury, Wiltshire, 2005.
