Summary: 1 sherd of pottery, from Bishops Cannings G76, Wiltshire.

Research results

A sherd of prehistoric pottery, excavated in 1964 during Paul Ashbee's investigations of Beckhampton Road Long barrow. No record of their context survives, however, it is likely that this sherd is the fragment identified as being from the base of a collared urn, found within the fill of the round barrow ditch which had been contructed at one end of the long barrow.
