Description

Summary: 1 sizeable ashlar having three smooth faces and one with light-carved ridging and two opposite faces with a foliate band on each, there being a 60mm depth hole with a 30mm diameter drilled into one smooth face centred through a shallow carved slot. Found at Monkton Farleigh Priory, Monkton Farleigh, Wiltshire.
