Description

Summary: 1 tapered cube-shaped ashlar having five smooth-dressed faces and a sixth face decorated with a quartered tapered 'square', three of the quarters having an inset ball-shaped design with the fourth broken away, and a cross pattern separating the quarters with horiztonal band accommodating seven small carved ball shapes. Found at Monkton Farleigh Priory, Monkton Farleigh, Wiltshire.
