Summary: A polychrome glass bead and rock crystal bead excavated from an Anglo-Saxon grave at Barrow Clump by Operation Nightingale, 2012-2014.

Research results

A polychrome glass bead and a rock crystal bead, found with the burial of a young woman of around 18-21 during excavations of an Early Medieval burial ground at Barrow Clump, excavated by Operation Nightingale, 2012-14. The beads are of a number scattered throughout the grave, which may have originally formed part of a necklace.
