Description

Summary: 22 potsherds including red transfer printed china, blue and white, local earthenware with pink core and yellow glaze; a lustered rim sherd; and 2 with olive green glaze and orange/ grey/ orange core, from an excavation at New Park Street, Devizes, Wiltshire, carried out by the Field Archaeology Unit, Institute of Archaeology, University College London, 1990.

Research results

Excavations at New Park Street, Devizes, Wiltshire, revealed a sequence of three buildings, 15th? and 17-18th century, as well as a number of Post-Medieval features including a well and an icehouse, carried out by the Field Archaeology Unit, Institute of Archaeology, University College London, 1990.
