Description

Summary: one rim sherds from a bowl of fine micaceous ware, interior chocolate colour, exterior below shoulder black and polished, above shoulder unpolished brown, ornamented with incised lines in hatched chevron pattern, from the iron age period, from the early Iron Age settlement at All Cannings Cross Farm, All Cannings Cross, Wiltshire. Excavated by Mr B H Cunnington and Mrs M E Cunnington, 1911-22.
