Identification note: Julia de Mann (1891-c.1980) was Principal of St Hilda's College, Oxford and a noted author on the history of the textile industry in the West of England; in retirement she lived in Melksham and was a member of the WANHS Council

Summary: Five boxes of papers of Miss Julia de Lacy Mann, including historical research notes (primarily relating to the textile industry of the West of England) and correspondence, including letter dated 26 October 2014 from Dr Negley Harte with background information on the collection and copy of Julia de Laey Mann, 1891-1985: A Memoir, Harte, N.B., Textile History, 17 (1), 3-6, 1986
