Description

Summary: 1 chalk spindle whorl with a chevron/zig-zag pattern carved out in relief and bordered by incised lines above and below, with a hole perforated through the centre, from the early Iron Age settlement at All Cannings Cross Farm, All Cannings Cross, Wiltshire. Excavated by Mr B H Cunnington and Mrs M E Cunnington, 1911-22.
