flint waste

Description

Summary: 40 waste flake, debitage from flint knapping. Most are probably neolithic but there are a quantity of very small flakes (approx 60%) which may be mesolithic. All found in the ditch fill of Ditch II, Cutting IIIc ii from a small field known as Oliver's Hill Field, Cherhill, Wiltshire, excavated by I F Smith and J G Evans, on behalf of the Wiltshire Archaeological and Natural History Society, 1967.
