Free hands-on family activities exploring the lives of people who lived on the North Wessex Downs from the Iron Age onwards.

Jump into exciting virtual reality environments, learn archaeological techniques and explore both artefacts and ecofacts.

Linked to the project to remove pylons from the Roundway area in the North Wessex Downs National Landscape.

Close to the Museum, we use the Town Hall Assembly Room for larger talks as it seats up to 150 people. The Assembly Room is on the first floor, but there is level access and a lift.
